The HSM-A gantry-type high-speed slitter rewinder is built for slitting and rewinding self-adhesive paper, kraft paper, and other paper-based materials. It can also be used for large-diameter film roll rewinding, delivering stable web handling, precise edge guiding, and efficient finished-roll discharge for high-speed converting production.

Features
  • The main frame is built with a 70 mm-thick steel structure and processed through precision secondary machining and stress-relief treatment. Seamless steel tube supports help enhance overall machine stability.
  • The main drive roller is made from seamless steel tube and processed through tempering, surface hardening, chrome plating, mirror finishing, and dynamic balancing. It is driven by a servo motor to support stable high-speed operation.
  • The shaftless unwind unit uses automatic hydraulic lifting and is equipped with dedicated 3" and 6" chucks to protect the inner paper core. Left and right arm movement is controlled by guide rails and hydraulic cylinders.
  • Unwind tension is controlled by two servo motors using PLC control and German Rexroth servo drives to maintain constant tension. A pneumatic brake tension control option is also available.
  • The EPC system uses a Taiwan PAUSOURCE edge guiding device. Web guiding is controlled through material edge detection, with lateral movement driven by a servo motor and guide rail.
  • The bridge-type web path design provides easier access and more convenient operation.
  • The rewinding section adopts a surface winding structure with A/B dual rewind shafts. Single-shaft rewinding is also available.
  • The front-to-back movement of the rewinding section is controlled by hydraulic cylinders.
  • Rewind tension is controlled by two servo motors and two Japanese SMC proportional valves through the PLC system, ensuring stable constant tension.
  • The rewind press system is equipped with two rubber press rollers.
  • After slitting is completed, hydraulic cylinders automatically lower the finished rolls to the ground for easier handling.
  • The slitting section is equipped with 10 pneumatic circular knives, with fine adjustment available for precise slitting.
  • A vacuum-type trim removal system efficiently removes waste edges during production.
